In the coming years, AI-powered cameras are gonna revolutionize millions of sports courts, providing better experiences for athletes with personalized game content - every court will have the AI equivalent of the production crew at Wimbledon center court. This is an opportunity for sports clubs to boost the player experience — bringing more people to the sport and making them more engaged.

Welcome to the roadmap for Clutch! We’re a team of tech people with racket sports in our DNA. We’re really excited about building the future of padel and racket sports. This is where you can get a sense of what we’re working on and the trajectory of the Clutch platform.

Our mission is to build a global community of players and clubs that are connected through content and an engaging performance tracking experience. A bit like what a company like Strava has done for runners and cyclists.

At Clutch we’re constantly pushing the limits and trying to bring new features to our customers. We try to release as often as possible. Some of these features are visible to the end user through new app updates, while others are about making our infrastructure more reliable and performant.

We generally work closely with clubs and love to get feedback from players to make sure that we are building the features you’d like to see in the app!

More leaderboards

Of course the Clutch Score will have leaderboards - both for individual matches but also for clubs and the global network. We’re also looking into other metrics that we can create leaderboards on, eg. distance run, fastest shot, etc.

A key driver for players is the competitive banter that sports bring. Who was the MVP of the game? Was it you or your partners fault that you lost the game?

Expected release: beta release September, full release in November 2025.

Improved player profiles for performance tracking

In addition to the Clutch Score, we’ll be building more comprehensive performance tracking for each individual user. This includes a mix of:

• Tactical profiling of the player’s strengths and weaknesses on different aspects of the game, eg. attack, defense, consistency, physicality and shot quality.
• Heat maps with analysis of shot patterns and court coverage
• Video analysis with automated highlight clips for eg. winners and errors

Expected release: beta release in January, full release by February 2026.
